Follow these simple 5 steps to get Schools on the Move started in your district!

STEP 1.

— ADMIN APPROVAL

School receives approval from their admininstrator to implement Schools on the Move.

STEP 2.

— APPLY

The teacher/school submits an application via the link below.

STEP 3.

— FUND

The school begins to fundraise towards the $5,000 needed to begin the training.  The MOVRS Foundation will also begin providing financial assistance as donations come in.

STEP 4.

— TRAIN

Once the program is fully funded, the teachers will begin their online training in the Schools on the Move program.  Training will be tailored to that school’s specific needs and will be completed over the course of a few days.

STEP 5.

— MOVE!

The school is ready to implement the Schools on the Move program in their district and get their kids moving!  Schools on the Move will provide assistance during the implementation process to ensure you are able to run it successfully.

The MOVRS Foundation proudly supports Schools on the Move, a program originating in Finland which strives to provide students with a more active and pleasant school day.

Schools on the Move is being implemented by over 90% of schools in Finland, and has expanded to serve schools globally. Finland's education system is consistently recognized as one of the best in the world, and their commitment to active and pleasant school days is a large reason why.
